This tool calculates the exact number of days, weeks, months, years, and business days (Monday–Friday) between any two dates. It's useful for contract deadlines, project planning, vacation countdowns, and anywhere you need a precise span of time.
How It Counts
The calculator reports the number of days between the start and end dates — that is, the end date minus the start date. If you need an inclusive count (counting both the start and end), add one. Months and years use the average calendar length (30.44 days/month, 365.25 days/year) and are shown as decimals for precision.
Business Days
Business days exclude Saturdays and Sundays. If your project has public holidays that should also be excluded, subtract them manually. A typical work week has five business days; a typical month has about 22.
